How to Compress Images for Email

Resize before sending
Choose dimensions appropriate for the recipient. A full-resolution camera photo is often much larger than needed for an email attachment.
Compress a copy
Keep the original and create a smaller JPG or WebP copy for sharing when the recipient and destination support it.
